I agree with your debridement codes. You can also code the wound vac application (97606 vs. 97608 based on the total sq cm of area covered with the vac). The final code will depend on whether this is. [ Read More ]
So if I am understanding this correctly, you can only bill for 97605/97606 essentially once (when it is originally applied) since this is a durable type of wound vac system and the provider would not . [ Read More ]
If the provider is just replacing the outside dressing, then no the 97605/97606 would not be billed. He/she would need to be replacing the entire wound vac for this code to apply. Dressing changes alo. [ Read More ]
